For more than 150 years, the TÜV system has operated in addition to the responsibilities of commercial companies and in addition to state inspections as a privately operated inspection and testing body for technical safety and quality. The mission of TÜV Rheinland is to make technical equipment and products safer. Inspections and certifications from TÜV Rheinland provide consumers with additional guidance in the marketplace.
The MPA HANNOVER carries out material tests and component tests and maintains efficient laboratories for chemical and physical investigations as well as for the fire behavior of building materials. In addition, the MPA HANNOVER monitors and certifies according to various building law and private law regulations.
BSI produces British Standards, and, as the UK's National Standards Body, is also responsible for the UK publication, in English, of international and European standards. BSI is obliged to adopt and publish all European Standards as identical British Standards (prefixed BS EN) and to withdraw pre-existing British Standards that are in conflict.
We not only ensure that our products meet the required standards, but we also have them verified by two independent world-class companies.
